DialToSave has been providing discount international calls for UK consumers since 2002. Earlier this year we completed a simple Android app to allow smartphone users to quickly and easily make cheap rate calls using the DialToSave service.
TECHNICAL HIGHLIGHTS
– Simple and intuitive interface designed by Bearded Hen.
– Easily browse international phone rates for all countries – pulled down from DialtoSave in real-time via a REST API.
– Lists all a user’s stored contacts within the app – avoiding the need to exit to “Contacts” and re-enter the app.
– Automatically routes calls through DialToSave rather than the user’s mobile network to give calls at a fraction of the cost.
– Call numbers not in the contacts list using a keypad within the app.
– Users can add credit to their account via a web link in the app to the DialToSave payment page.
